What is TopMobility?
TopMobility is a shared mobility app that provides access to various vehicles, including electric bikes and cars, available for rent by the minute hour or day. It’s a convenient and eco-friendly way to get around without the hassle of owning a car.
How does TopMobility work?
After downloading the app and signing up, you can locate, reserve, and unlock a vehicle directly from your smartphone. You pay only for the time you use the vehicle, making it a flexible and cost-effective transportation option
Do I need a driving license to use cars on TopMobility?
Yes, you do need a valid driving license. You can validate your document through the app.
How do I find a vehicle?
Open the TopMobility app, use the map to find available vehicles near you, select the one that fits your needs, and start the ride. The app will guide you through the rest of the process.
What types of vehicles are available on TopMobility?
There are electric-assist bikes that can reach up to 25 km per hour, electric cars, and patrolled-powered cars.
Can I reserve a vehicle in advance?
If you are in a rush you can reserve a vehicle for 5 minutes free of charge so that you can guarantee its availability.
How do I start and end a trip?
To start a trip, locate your preferred vehicle, and unlock it using the app. To end the trip, park the vehicle in a designated area and follow the prompts in the app to lock and finish the ride.
What if the car runs out of fuel or battery during my trip?
For petrol cars, fuel costs are included in your fee, and you can use the provided fuel card at partner stations. For electric cars, you can use the specific cards for Fines and Eldrive charging networks.
How is the insurance arranged?
All TopMobility cars come with basic insurance coverage. In case of an accident to take advantage of the insurance you should immediately contact our call centre +359 896 58 18 18. Also for every accident, you should provide a valid document from a competent authority stating the details of the accident. Without providing such a document the insurance becomes invalid and you are responsible for the full cost of the damage.
What if I have an issue with the car during my rental?
If you encounter any problems with the car, such as mechanical issues or an accident, contact TopMobility’s support team through the app or on the phone, and we will assist you promptly.
Can I take the car outside of the city or country?
You can take the car outside of the city but you cannot go outside of Bulgaria.
How do I pay for the trip?
All payments are processed through the TopMobility app. You can add a credit or debit card to your account, and your trip fees will be automatically charged after your trip.
What should I do if I forget to lock the car or return it late?
If you forget to lock the car check the app and follow the steps how to lock it.
Are there subscription packages in the TopMobility app?
Yes, there are. Check the available packages in the Subscription menu. Pay attention to the area of the package and where you want to use the service.
How can I activate the 5 free daily minutes
You can activate them through the Subscriptions menu. You can use them once every 24 hours and currently are available only for electric bikes in Varna. They will renew automatically every day. If you wish to explore other packages you should cancel the 5 min free subscription and choose another one. If you have any problems don’t hesitate to contact us.
What is the most important thing before starting a ride?
Going through the Rules in the app is the most important thing. As well as following the instructions when starting and ending the ride.
